There are almost countless websites attempting to address the issues of self development and success, and the number grows every day. Of course we cannot include them all here, but this short list will give you a good start in disscovering what the industry has to offer, and all are valuable resources.

  • MindPerk.com: This site contains a comprehensive list of books, authors and Programs dedicated to self improvement. The atmosphere is cheery and the content is cleanly laid out and easy to navigate.
  • TUT: Short for Totally Unique Thoughts, this site is the brainchild of the unstoppable Mike Dooley, whom you may recognise from The Secret movie. Like its namesake, the site is very unique, and includes an amazing online community, free ‘Notes From the Universe,’ a series of e-cards and MUCH more.
  • SelfGrowth.com: This is a very detailed site with many resources, including some fun extras such as IQ tests, along with a newsletter, discussion board and much more.
  • Personal Development for Smart People: This site and blog by Steve Pavlina has a huge list of articles and is a great resource for inspiration.
  • Powerful Intentions: A self-proclaimed group of ‘attractive’ people, this tongue-in-cheek site is anything but a joke. The members are referring to the Law of Attraction, and believe that their power lies in coming together and discussing the principles of attraction…like a magnet.
  • Choosing Prosperity: This site was founded by the capable Elyse Hope Killoran, and helps adherents enjoy ‘Prosperity From the Inside Out.’ Based on the teaching of Abraham-Hicks (see the next point), the site has some wonderful features, such as a good forum and the Prosperity Game, designed to effectively widen and increase prosperity consciousness (plus, it’s free!)
  • Abraham-Hicks: This unconventional site contains some really powerful teachings, and serves to remind us of what is important on our journey to abundance and happiness.
  • CreataVision: This site offers a wealth of resources about applying the Law of Attraction, and also has a very welcoming and creative feel to it. Several extras, such as a forum, make it worth visiting.
  • Bob Proctor: The ever-jubilant philosopher featured on The Secret and in many other venues, Bob is afantastic mentor when it comes to personal development. His winning attitude permeates everything he does, and his books and programs will help you focus on, and achieve, your goals.
  • Jim Rohn: This gentleman is known as America’s foremost business philosopher for a reason: he is a charismatic and effective leader and has many thousands of adoring fans. His programs, books and seminars have helped countless people achieve outrageous success, and he is more inspiring now than he has ever been.
  • Anthony Robbins: Anthony Robbins, originally a student of Jim Rohn’s, is the epitome of success and self-development. While he has become most famous for his firewalk, performed by exhilarated seminar attendees the world over, his story is one we can all learn from. Tony began as a very poor young man with few resources to rely on, and in a fairly short period of time built a personal development empire that is unequalled. Let his enthusiasm catch hold in your life!
  • Brian Tracy: One of my favourite success mentors, Brian teaches us to be sophisticated and effective people, in general and in life. His likeable style has made him one of the most popular speakers in the world, and all of his books and programs offer superb value for the money.
